About the Role

As a Security Officer with SecurAmerica, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties, including commercial high-rise buildings. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to detect and prevent potential security threats
  • Observing and reporting suspicious activities and persons
  • Composing detailed narratives and maintaining daily activity reports (DARs)
  • Enforcing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of security experience
  • Class D Security License Certification
  • Proven track record of passion for the security industry
  • Background working in a commercial high-rise building
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Great attention to detail and report writing skills/handwriting
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Clean driving record and valid Class E Drivers license
