AmeriWound is seeking a skilled Wound Care Physician and Advanced Practice Provider to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our team, you will provide wound care services in long-term care facilities, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor patient wounds.
Responsibilities- Round weekly at assigned facilities within your designated territory to provide wound care services.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine, utilizing your expertise to develop effective treatment plans.
- Perform medical procedures, such as debridement, as necessary to promote wound healing.
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document each patient encounter in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- MD, DO, PA, or CRNP degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in EMR documentation and software utilization.
AmeriWound offers a competitive compensation package, with projected monthly earnings ranging from $18,000 to $20,000 or more for full-time providers. Monthly compensation is variable, directly dependent on provider availability, patient volume, and documentation for reimbursement.
