Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Construction Manager to join our team at Fluor. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with prime contracts and company policies
  • Lead and direct all functions necessary to safely and efficiently execute the scope of work
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution
  • Establish and maintain alignment across project phases, ensuring seamless execution
  • Oversee and direct all activities in accordance with the company Quality Program
  • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Requirements
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Nuclear Construction experience
  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in a relevant field, with 18 years of work-related experience or a combination of education and experience equal to 22 years if non-degreed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to promote outstanding customer service and client relations
  • Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership
  • Basic computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
  • Competency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management
