Job Summary

Primal Pet Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counts, inventory discrepancies, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage the movement of products, including receiving, storing, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and meet business objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to GMPs, HACCP, and other food safety guidelines.
  • Train and develop staff to perform in a self-directed manner, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment, with increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks, meeting deadlines and business objectives.
  • Good understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and other food safety guidelines.
