Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our facilities' HVAC/R equipment and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair HVAC/R equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
  • Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
  • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
  • Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
  • Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
  • Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move up and down ladders frequently.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage range: $23.00-$45.00
  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

  • PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes.
