About the Role

This position involves supporting the FAE objective to make Vehicle Manufacturing equipment best-in-industry for human safety, highest quality, and most efficient utilization of automation technology for non-value-added work reduction.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting project planning with plant teams and Final Assembly team for upcoming model changes
  • Evaluating model change impact on vehicle processes and developing technical equipment change requirements
  • Developing new technologies and vendor relationships for PE (Production Engineering) and Manufacturing industry competitiveness improvement within Assembly
Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in Assembly Engineering or Internal Logistics Engineering.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% to all North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCs) as well as Japan for TMC sites and equipment makers
  • Ability to work up to 30% overtime when required
