Key Responsibilities
  • Provide service and repair of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities to diagnose equipment malfunctions and ensure quality work performance.
  • Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work history and process job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Provide support by picking up, delivering, and installing equipment.
  • Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations.
  • Drive company vehicle safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • EPA certification.
  • Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
  • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with single systems and rack systems, as well as previous work on display cases and walk-in boxes is very helpful.
  • Good driving record and ability to work independently.
  • Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with no assistance and sit or stand for several hours at a time.
