Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at HCA Healthcare's Sky Ridge Medical Center. As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring there is adequate stock and appropriate equipment available in areas as assigned.
  • Assist with post-procedure workload, including cleaning the room between procedures, putting away unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
  • Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate in accordance with the competency level of all staff members.
  • Rotate to areas other than OR and perform only those duties that you have demonstrated competency.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
  • One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CNOR preferred.
