We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Tech to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

About the Role

This is a full-time position in our Emergency Psychiatric department at Rochester General Hospital. You will work closely with our Registered Nurses to assess patients' needs and develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care services to patients, including daily living, social, and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and ensure they have access to required services.
  • Participate in the development of comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating patients' needs and wants.
  • Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete documentation of patients' responses to treatment.
Requirements
  • One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting or related experience.
  • Compassionate, warm, and patient-focused individual.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
