We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our project teams and provide technical expertise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring technical quality, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    • Lead and guide multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Oversee pre-design investigations and prepare contract documents.
    • Prepare and review technical reports and project deliverables.
    • Conduct and oversee design and construction field observations.
  • Client Management
    • Effectively communicate complex technical issues to clients.
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Project Management
    • Manage construction-phase engineering support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, change order requests, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
    • Ensure projects meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
  • Team Development
    • Mentor and lead junior engineers.
    • Delegate and manage tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Experience
    • 7-15 years of experience in water, wastewater, recycled water, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Professional Civil Engineer license in California.
  • Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
