About the Position:

The Kinesiology Department at InsideHigherEd is seeking a pool of qualified individuals for possible adjunct teaching positions. The department is recruiting for positions in health, nutrition, and public health, and this pool will remain open for additional needs that arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in kinesiology, health sciences, and related fields
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to departmental decisions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in kinesiology or a related field
  • At least 2 years of academic teaching experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in kinesiology or a related field
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Strong knowledge of health sciences and related fields

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, adjunct position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on a semester-by-semester basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and departmental needs.
