Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Illinois.
Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract position, requiring the technologist to work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, on a day schedule.
Responsibilities- Perform various catheterization laboratory procedures, including coronary and peripheral interventions.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect throughout the procedure.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related specialty.
- At least 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
