About the Role:

The Shift Leader is a key member of the Caribou Coffee team, responsible for leading and directing the store in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and engage the team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts with a focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction, ensuring a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize product sales and minimize waste.
  • Take ownership of the store's appearance and ensure it meets Caribou Coffee's high standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and guests, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including bank deposits, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of leadership or customer service experience, or equivalent training and approval from Caribou Coffee.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license (if required by the store).

Physical Requirements:

The Shift Leader must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move around the store with ease. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
