Aviation OEM Sales Engineer

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Aviation OEM Sales Engineer to join our team in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our OEM partners.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth across our product lines and OEM markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and provide insights on industry trends, competitive products, and market opportunities.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospects and existing partners.
• Lead the development of product proposals and compliance matrices.
• Negotiate and administer long-term contracts and agreements to establish positive partnerships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM customers and service centers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in lithium-ion batteries, power conversion solutions, and avionics systems.
• Participate in industry trade shows as required.

• Minimum 5 years of direct aviation experience, preferably with exposure to aviation electrical and avionics systems.
• Proven experience in relationship building and providing superior customer service.
• Strong negotiation and project management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, focused, and results-oriented.
• Problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
