Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in post-acute care settings
  • Monitor patients' physical and mental health, tracking vital signs
  • Conduct resident intakes, documenting medical histories and health concerns
  • Assist with medication administration and verification, monitoring usage and effects
  • Foster a comfortable and safe environment for residents
  • Maintain accurate medical records and charts for residents
  • Support the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
  • Manage medical supplies and ensure proper inventory levels
  • Collaborate with staff to orient and train new team members
Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Graduation from an approved Practical Nursing training program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role
