Key Responsibilities

The Low Voltage Systems Technician will:

  1. Provide technical support for post-installation issues related to security systems.
  2. Respond to service requests to ensure system performance and reliability.
  3. Conduct preventative maintenance to enhance system availability.
  4. Perform routine configuration changes and document all modifications.
  5. Produce detailed technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Execute end-to-end testing of upgrades and modifications.
  7. Install software upgrades and major modifications on-site.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with low voltage equipment installation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective time management skills and a positive work ethic.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems are a plus.
