GeorgiaGov is seeking a highly qualified Automotive Technology Instructor to join our team. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students in classroom and lab environments, providing a comprehensive education in automotive technology.
**Responsibilities**
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
• Teach classes in classroom and lab environments, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and technologies
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and industry partners
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of automotive technology
• Recruit and retain students, promoting the program to potential students and industry partners
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure program relevance and effectiveness
**Requirements**
• Master's degree in Automotive Technology or related field
• Five years of experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience
• Current ASE Certification in all eight areas
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
