About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Chefcentre. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the management of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning and preparation of menus
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and recipes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of classical cuisine and banqueting
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
