Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality imaging procedures and contributing to the diagnosis of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Preparation and Communication: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Operation of CT Equipment: Operate and calibrate the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.
  • Image Quality and Review: Review CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
  • Patient Safety and Comfort: Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure proper patient positioning.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to determine imaging procedures and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Requirements

  • Certification as a CT Technologist (RT(R)(CT) or equivalent)
  • Experience with CT imaging procedures and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
