Position Overview

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare leadership at the managerial level or higher. A combination of education, experience, and background will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making abilities to meet both local and organizational objectives.

Proven experience in enhancing outcomes in assigned areas through innovative and sustainable strategies is essential.

Familiarity with electronic health records is necessary to track key practice statistics, patient access metrics, and clinic operations.

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.

A strong commitment to customer service, patient experience, and operational improvement within the outpatient setting is crucial.

Knowledge of business and medical administration principles, management practices, and relationship management is important.

Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in an outpatient environment, including HIPAA, scheduling, and billing, is necessary.

  1. Oversee the management of clinical and business operations at assigned sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services, enhancing patient experience, managing materials, implementing software, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining equipment, and managing the facility. Availability after hours for urgent issues is required.
  2. Support the strategic direction of Ambulatory Operations and contribute to the Institute's growth initiatives by operationalizing new programs.
  3. Exemplify the core values of inclusion, compassion, and excellence.
  4. Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative leaders to eliminate barriers to success and achieve organizational objectives.
  5. Provide strong, effective, goal-oriented leadership to both direct and indirect reports.
  6. Support and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for all operational areas within your span of control.
  7. Coordinate and maintain standardized work procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across Ambulatory Operations.
  8. Mentor, educate, and hold accountable direct reports while fostering a culture of trust in your areas of responsibility.
  9. Implement and validate leadership tools such as rounding on patients, employees, and providers, and recognize key behaviors.
  10. Develop quarterly action plans focused on achieving annual role-specific and organizational goals.
  11. Conduct data reporting and analysis to inform decision-making aimed at meeting organizational objectives.
  12. Engage in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  13. Perform all related duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements

An associate degree or bachelor's degree is preferred.
