Behavioral Support Technician (BST)

Compensation: $19 – $21 per hour based on experience

Successful candidates will receive paid training to achieve necessary certifications, and no prior experience is required as on-the-job learning is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct weekly fidelity checks across all shifts to ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Work alongside the house manager to guarantee availability of necessary materials and supplies for plan implementation.
  • Present graphical summaries of Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) effectiveness during staff meetings.
  • Ensure the implementation, completion, and training of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on data documentation.
  • Engage directly in recreational, therapeutic, and training activities with individuals.
  • Provide positive behavioral support in accordance with established behavior support plans and respond to emergencies as trained.
  • Complete required documentation in compliance with Benchmark Human Services as well as state and federal regulations.

General Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a 40-hour training program conducted by a BACB certificant based on the RBT Task List.
  • Successful completion of the RBT Competency Assessment administered by a BACB certificant.
