Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, and is attractive and tasty.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and be responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed, assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required, and assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as needed.
  • Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately, attend in-service and safety meetings, and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and perform other duties as assigned.
