Surgical Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the proper handling of instruments and supplies.
- Prepare and organize operating rooms, including setting up equipment and supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the safe and efficient completion of procedures.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including surgical counts and instrument inventory.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
- One year of operating room experience or military equivalent experience in a scrub role within the last two years.
- Recent completion of an operating room training program.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate within six months of hire from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery within six months of hire from National Center for Competency Testing.
- Basic Life Support certification.
