About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Med Surg Ortho team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with procedures, such as wound care and dressing changes, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the RN and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Current LPN licensure in the state of employment
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • IV certification and experience with IV therapy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
