We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, dispensing medications, and promoting health and wellness in our communities.
Key Responsibilities- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of medications to patients.
- Counsel patients on their medication regimens, providing education and guidance on proper use and potential side effects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
