We are seeking a reliable Deli Clerk to join our team at Shepherd Oil Co. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes and health and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Cook with an industrial fryer
• Rotate stock
• Update temperature logs for food, refrigeration, and freezer
• Communicate effectively with all levels of coworkers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent customer service skills
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Physically capable of fulfilling all requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds
• Solid and consistent work history
• Excellent personal and professional references
