This role involves the creation and maintenance of an innovative, interactive, and visually engaging program website that will act as the central hub for all stakeholders involved in the Moving I-4 Forward initiative. This initiative represents the largest transportation program in Florida, aiming to revolutionize a vital corridor in the state while transforming the transportation industry's delivery methods. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute a variety of tasks aimed at developing visually attractive, user-centric, and effective websites.
- Design graphics, icons, banners, and other visual components. Choose suitable colors, fonts, and layouts, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and goals.
- Prioritize the usability and accessibility of the website.
- Ensure mobile-friendliness and responsiveness of the website, designing layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
- Conduct testing across various devices and browsers to guarantee compatibility.
- Collaborate with content creators to effectively present text, images, and multimedia.
- Optimize design elements to enhance site performance and loading speeds, while supporting SEO best practices.
- Implement design features that boost user engagement and minimize bounce rates.
- Maintain website accessibility across diverse environments.
- Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure it remains current and functional.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and apply necessary fixes.
- Adapt designs to accommodate content updates.
- Adhere to project timelines and budgets while delivering high-quality design work.
- Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Continuously enhance skills through training and professional development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

- A.S. or A.A in Computer Science, IT-related field, or a related discipline. Candidates without a degree must demonstrate a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and WordPress.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Capacity to assess new and emerging website technologies.
- Familiarity with current authoring languages, editing tools, and related web technologies.
- Understanding of internet operations and functionality, along with a broad range of internet programming and design tools.
- Knowledge of computer graphics and layout principles.
- Familiarity with FTP and the ability to develop website documents.
- Solid grasp of web design, navigation, content presentation, usability best practices, and web technology.
- Working knowledge of browser capabilities and design constraints for web development; flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Ability to respond promptly to company and client needs.
- Familiarity with StoryMaps is preferred.
