MRI Technologist Travel Job

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Description

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring accurate images are passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. You will also be responsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoing MRI imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologist with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

TNAA Job ID #1154485. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
