Taxation Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As the liaison between senior managers, partners, clients, and staff, you'll play a vital role in all phases of an engagement.

As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the liaison between senior managers, partners, clients, and staff during all phases of an engagement;
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff members;
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tax services;
• Analyzing complex financial data and developing effective solutions;
• Staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations;
• Becoming a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them navigate tax complexities and achieve their business objectives.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or equivalent work experience, specifically in the non-profit area;
• 3+ years of experience with non-profit taxation;
• A college degree in accounting;
• A valid CPA license;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and tax preparation software;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Our compensation package includes a salary of $85,000 per year, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

This role is based in our Richmond office, but we offer flexible work arrangements to support your unique professional and personal needs.
