Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Cashier
Work Hours:
- Part-Time: 16-24 hours per week, with shifts of 4-8 hours between 7 AM and 9 PM.
- Full-Time: 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts scheduled from 7 AM to 9 PM.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential, and additional hours may be required based on workload and staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at checkout by scanning items and processing transactions.
- Handle price checks, accept coupons, and manage payments and change accurately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Dependability and honesty are crucial.
- Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Ability to read and write in English at an 8th-grade level.
- Must follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing education.
- Previous experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves moderate physical activity, including standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Compensation: Starting wage is $17 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
