Automotive Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Sun Auto Tire & Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair customer vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Explain technical diagnoses and recommended repairs to customers and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications to ensure the highest level of expertise.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.
