Kennel Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team at Main Street Veterinary Hospital PC. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our furry patients.

• Ensure our guests receive exceptional care, including feeding, watering, and playtime.
• Greet and settle in our guests, handling all necessary paperwork.
• Administer medications under veterinary guidance.
• Assist with grooming, including baths, brushes, and beauty sessions.
• Monitor our furry pals' health and behavior, reporting any concerns.
• Ensure departing guests are clean and reunited with their belongings.
• Handle our animal friends with care and kindness, promoting a fear-friendly environment.
• Maintain accurate records of all TLC provided.
• Collaborate with our hospital team to deliver exceptional care.
• Maintain spotless accommodations for our boarders.
• Participate in general cleaning to keep our facility pristine and healthy.
• Keep bowls sparkling clean and fresh.
• Manage laundry and trash duties.
• Keep our grounds tidy and welcoming.
• Track feeding times and other vital information.
• Keep our pet parents informed about their fur babies' stay.
• Deliver outstanding customer service every time.

• Previous pet care or animal handling experience is essential.
• Familiarity with kennel or hospital settings is a must.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and tackle physical tasks.
• Bonus points for customer service experience.
• Knowledge of veterinary lingo and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for teamwork.
