Overview:
The Nursing Administrative Coordinator is responsible for managing administrative functions to ensure adherence to organizational standards while coordinating nursing services across various departments to optimize patient care delivery.
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring effective operational processes involving patients, families, nursing personnel, physicians, and external entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Addresses administrative challenges and offers guidance on policy interpretation to promote accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluates the performance of junior staff and provides constructive feedback to uphold excellence in service delivery.
- Collaborates with nursing leadership and other departments to refine administrative workflows, enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
- Maintains robust communication with nursing teams and other stakeholders to foster positive patient outcomes.
- Seeks counsel from senior management and seasoned healthcare professionals when faced with complex challenges.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as required.

Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of 3 years as a Registered Nurse, including at least 1 year in a clinical specialty recognized by ANCC or national nursing organizations.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
