Program Overview:

The DR3AM'RS Clubhouse initiative aims to deliver a holistic and distinctive array of services tailored for children and families facing the challenges associated with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This program also serves as a Recovery Support Clubhouse for adolescents aged 13-17 who are navigating difficulties related to drug and/or alcohol use.

Our services encompass educational support regarding substance use, assistance with academic responsibilities, employment guidance, and engaging activities that foster overall well-being while providing a positive alternative to substance use.


Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the safe transportation of children from educational institutions and residences to the clubhouse, ensuring their return home at the end of the day.

- Collaborate with the DR3AMERS Clubhouse Staff, including the Program Manager and Case Manager, to support clubhouse members and their families.

- Work closely with adolescents, their families, and counselors to identify individual needs, assist in conflict resolution, and develop action plans aimed at achieving established goals.

- Participate in field trips at least two Saturdays each month.

- Maintain the cleanliness and proper upkeep of assigned vehicles.

- Report any incidents or accidents to management without delay.

- Engage in ongoing training and educational opportunities to stay informed about client transportation best practices as mandated by the agency.

- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to transporting passengers.

- Empower and motivate youth to utilize available resources at the clubhouse.

- Attend all provided training sessions.

- Encourage youth to remain in school and address substance-related challenges.

- Undertake additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Ability to operate large vehicles and heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, dump trucks, and heavy-duty trucks.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding both English and Spanish.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Bilingual (English & Spanish).

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and local routes.

- Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.

- Patience and flexibility in dealing with diverse situations.

- Capacity to listen empathetically.

- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.


Requirements:

- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

- Ability to endure long periods of sitting and standing.

- Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with company policy.

- Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

- Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory, with random screenings thereafter.

- Any combination of training and experience that equips the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
