Key Responsibilities- Provide Critical Care Services: Assist in providing the fullest possible educational opportunity for students by minimizing absence due to illness and creating a climate of health and well-being in the schools.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications from physicians' orders and maintain accurate medication records.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and district personnel to ensure seamless care for students.
- Health Room Services: Manage and provide health room services, including first aid and CPR, according to established procedures.
- Guidance and Counseling: Provide guidance and counseling in the area of health to students, staff, and parents according to professional standards.
- Education: Education Employment Verification - Act 16-67
- Nurse Certification: RN or LPN certification
- CPR Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- AED Certification: Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Certification
