Wine Connoisseur

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Steward to join our team at Kroger. As a Wine Steward, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting wine sales, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in our wine department.

• Customer Service: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, answering questions about wine and providing recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Wine Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on wine trends, flavors, and production methods to provide expert advice to customers.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure proper storage and handling of wine, and report any discrepancies to management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with store staff to achieve sales goals, promote wine events, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in the wine industry or a related field preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, knowledge of wine and wine-related products, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
