Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our location in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine mechanics, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:


Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel motorcoaches, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and other necessary repairs.



Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel motorcoaches
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel engines and related systems
• Diagnose diesel fuel injection and after-treatment systems
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly and accurately
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all vehicles are safe and ready for service
• Stay up to date with the latest industry standards, technology, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or certification in diesel mechanics preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with experience working on buses or heavy vehicles
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
• Experience with welding and use of diagnostic equipment and software
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
