Position Summary

As a Traffic Management Technician, your duties will include:
- Establishing secure work zones utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Maintaining a Flagger Station, directing traffic with hand signals and a STOP/SLOW Paddle.
- Transporting equipment and team members safely to various work sites.
- Engaging in effective communication with team members via radio.
- Ensuring the safety of all personnel by managing traffic flow.
- Delivering exceptional service and protection to clients.
- Receiving ongoing training and mentorship.
- Implementing safety practices to protect employees, clients, and company assets.
- Building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster business growth.
- Becoming knowledgeable in work zone setup and flagging protocols.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Completing required training within the designated timeframe.
- Maintaining job sites and equipment to uphold high standards.
- Interpreting plans and instructions to exceed client expectations.
- Making necessary adjustments to ensure safety for all parties involved.
- Reporting any safety concerns or incidents to a Supervisor.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- Experience in outdoor labor roles such as Traffic Control, Landscaping, or Construction.
- A valid state driver's license.
- Steel Toed or Composite Toed Boots.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights of 50-60 lbs.
- A familiarity with working in various weather conditions and traffic environments.
- The capability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests.
The role requires managing physical demands, including:
- Variable hours based on operational needs.
- Majority of work conducted outdoors.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and construction site environments.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Endurance to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
