Mount Indie is in search of a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to enhance and maintain a global meter data management system that monitors, records, and reports energy usage.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, implement, and integrate a Department of Defense Information Assurance (IA) architecture, system, or component for use within various computing and network environments.
- Engage in the identification, development, and execution of Information Assurance (IA) controls, encompassing technical, procedural, and documentation requirements as per DoD and Army standards.
- Oversee a broad spectrum of security concerns, including system architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis across all phases of the system lifecycle, including concept design, installation, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Implement encryption, conduct penetration testing, and perform vulnerability assessments of diverse security technologies.
- Deliver thorough evaluations of systems' security posture.
- Execute security testing to validate the cybersecurity integrity of the system and propose mitigations.
- Assess and recommend strategies aimed at enhancing the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the security program.
- Integrate architectural features into existing infrastructures and design cybersecurity architectural artifacts.
- Provide architectural analysis and connect existing systems to future needs and trends.
- Formulate security policies and procedures applicable across multiple system architectures.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related information technology field.
- A minimum of nine (9) years of recent relevant experience in the cybersecurity or information technology domain.
- At least five (5) years of experience in information assurance and security engineering within the process control sector.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information assurance and security engineering in the information technology sector for systems or networks.
- Demonstrated recent relevant experience of at least three (3) years in information assurance and security engineering within the Department of Defense, including familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Must possess DoD minimum certification requirements (e.g., CISSP, SEC+CE).
- Active Secret clearance is required.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience supporting Army metering programs.
