Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including angiographic studies and cardiac and peripheral angiography.
  • Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines.
  • Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field, adhering to hospital protocol.
  • Scrub and assist physicians during interventional procedures.
  • Exhibit knowledge of drugs, their actions, side effects, and contraindications for administration.
  • Start and maintain IV access.
  • Accurately follow physician orders, document completion of exams in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
Requirements
  • Current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].
  • BLS required.
  • Completion of ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
  • Minimum of 1 year of IR experience preferred.
