We are looking for a talented Digital Communications Coordinator to join our team at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD). As a key member of our communications team, you will play a crucial role in promoting FDD's mission and values through effective digital communications.

About the Job

In this exciting opportunity, you will assist in creating and executing daily outreach strategies and targeted outreach campaigns to promote FDD research and researchers to various media outlets. You will also support the development of short- and long-term communications strategies and tactical plans.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the creation and implementation of daily outreach strategies and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Assists with web management and posting.
  • Supports the execution of short- and long-term communications strategies and tactical plans.
  • Creates content for social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Contributes to the daily collection of and presentation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual media metrics.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A BS or BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, or related field.
  • Established interest and background in U.S. foreign policy, national security, defense, and current affairs.
  • Superior verbal, written, analytical, and personal communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
  • Track record of working on tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Digital communications experience and knowledge of WordPress preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is around $62,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
