Job Summary:

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist III to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist III, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience.
  • Collaborate with licensed staff to provide patient care and support during surgical procedures.
  • Perform patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Participate in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED and Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
  • One year experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required.
  • BLS certification Required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
