Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sparrow Clinton Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing services to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition and initiate nursing and medical care in accordance with established guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment and documentation in the medical record.
- Delegate and direct specific tasks to other healthcare workers.
- Engage in patient and family teaching, acting as a liaison between healthcare team members, patients, and families.
- Report pertinent patient data to physicians, managers, directors, and other medical staff as appropriate.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and knowledge of current trends in nursing through participation in meetings and attendance at mandatory inservices.
- Float to other units as assigned.
- Current Michigan license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Preferred: One year of nursing experience.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria.
- Clinical knowledge and analytic ability necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans and interventions.
