Position OverviewJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as a Mobile Phlebotomist. This role is essential in facilitating blood donation drives and ensuring a positive experience for donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies for blood collection are organized and ready for use.
- Blood Collection: Conduct blood draws, including performing preliminary health assessments and venipuncture techniques.
- Donor Care: Provide immediate post-donation support, including refreshments and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive interactions with donors, colleagues, and recruitment teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program and relevant clinical experience. Previous work in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Skills: Proficient in basic clerical tasks and computer operations, with strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Certifications: Phlebotomy and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certifications are beneficial.
