We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide Quality Nursing Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality nursing care by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as ordered by physicians and in accordance with our facility's policies.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Assist physicians with rounds as needed and provide support during physical examinations and treatments.
- Treatment and Documentation: Perform scheduled treatments and document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Infection Control: Adhere to all regulations related to cleanliness, infection control, and Standard/Universal Precautions.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research related to quality nursing care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Record Keeping and Scheduling: Assist with records, orders, and assessments of new admissions, and ensure that patients receive timely physical examinations and documentation.
- Education and Licensure: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Certifications and Training: CPR certified and able to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
- Skills and Abilities: Provide quality nursing care, follow doctor orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. Ability to supervise nursing assistants, work well with others, and make decisions regarding nursing problems.
