Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Gila River Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in various settings, including primary and specialty clinics, hospitals, and community health agencies.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between settings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• A minimum of 6 years of licensed nursing experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including Native American communities.
• Knowledge of community health principles and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
