Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty, Music to join our team at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Music courses at various times and locations, creating engaging lessons, and evaluating student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Music courses in a variety of settings, including classrooms and online platforms
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote student engagement and learning
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Meet with students before or after class, or by appointment, to discuss their progress and provide support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Music or a related field
  • Experience teaching Music courses in a higher education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and staff
