Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom.

Essential Functions

  • Run dishes and silverware through the dish machine following proper procedures
  • Clean and maintain equipment and areas as designated by management
  • Keep the dishroom clean and organized at all times
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
  • Clean the dish machine after every meal
  • Sweep and mop the dishroom floor at the end of each day and empty the mop bucket
  • De-lime the dish machine once a week
  • Scrub and soak all stained cups weekly
  • Exercise extreme caution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
  • Follow the cleaning schedule as provided by management, using 'clean as you go' techniques
  • Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
  • Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
  • Assist fellow associates at every opportunity
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management
