Job Overview

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Facility: Talencia LLC

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation: $43/Hour W2 - $46/Hour 1099

Unit Information

Specialty: Respiratory Therapy for Adults

Staffing Details: Day and Night shifts include a mix of supervisors and respiratory therapists, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Patient Care Environment

Unit Capacity: Various units including Pediatric Emergency Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Equipment Utilized: Advanced ventilators and non-invasive respiratory support devices.

Qualifications

Essential Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year in Pediatric Intensive Care or Level 3/Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care.

Preferred Skills: Candidates with additional relevant skills will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

Typical Procedures: Administration of nebulizer therapy, airway management, and ventilatory support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Personality Traits: A collaborative team player with adaptability to dynamic environments.

Required Certifications

Must possess CRT or RRT credentials, Texas RCP license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.

Additional Information

Floating Requirements: Willingness to float to adult units on a voluntary basis.

Dress Code: Specific scrub colors are required.

Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work at least 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
