Position: Moulder Operator

Glacier Mouldings is seeking a proficient wood molder operator to enhance our production capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional quality millwork through effective management of our molder operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and troubleshoot moulder production runs to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage tooling and perform changeovers as required.
• Prepare tooling for future production runs and set up molder heads accordingly.

Job Duties:

• Prior experience with Weinig equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Maintain sharpness of all moulder knives consistently.
• Clean knives and heads during production runs to ensure quality output.
• Adjust and troubleshoot during production runs while providing guidance to the molder team.
• Ensure thickness tolerances are maintained within .005 inches.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to oil, grease, and lubricate the moulders as necessary.
• Foster growth and development within the moulder team by sharing expertise and technical knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Factory Weinig training is a plus.
• Experience in operating, setting up, and running Weinig moulders is preferred.
• Background in wood products manufacturing is beneficial.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
